Being here now isn't something I achieved on my own.
It's thanks to everyone who's been part of my journey that I'm still alive today.
I wanted to share that feeling with the world-
That's why the album is titled "Okagesamade" ("Thanks to You").

This powerful album is crafted with the intensity of 18 tracks woven into one cohesive story.

From darkness (negativity) to light (positivity)
Destruction often carries a bad image, but 2025 marks a major turning point.
Will you remain consumed by the darkness
or head toward the light that's been waiting ahead?
To truly grow, we sometimes have to destroy the concepts that once held us back.

Artist Profile

  • KON-9

    KON-9 (pronounced K O N Nine) is a hip hop artist from Kushiro Hokkaido currently based in Sapporo Japan. At age 16 he left home and lived on the streets in Tokyo. He later went through experiences such as being wanted by the police time in juvenile detention involvement with underground groups and time in prison. After being released on April 18 2022 he started focusing on music. While in custody he wrote many lyrics that became the foundation of his work. His style is raw and based on real life struggles which has earned support from many listeners. His music includes ONE LIFE (with a guest rapper) KOTODAMA PT2 (with a guest artist) Rule A track with a Japanese title meaning unchanging He has also appeared in songs by other artists including Three by Fukulaw and a collaboration track featuring multiple rappers.
