• Ariel Sphere

  Ariel Sphere Born and raised in Tokyo, Ariel Sphere developed a deep connection with music and dance from an early age. She began learning piano in elementary school, but struggled with reading sheet music. Instead, she found herself more drawn to playing with the beats and sounds of the electronic keyboard at home. Dreaming of becoming a DJ, she was inspired by the individuality and unique colors of the artists she listened to and encountered throughout her life. Each artist had their own distinctive style and way of expressing themselves through music. She began to wonder what her own sound could be. "I want to become an artist with a style and music that are uniquely my own." This desire gradually grew into an interest in creating her own music. After traveling throughout Japan and abroad and experiencing different cultures and sounds, she had the opportunity to work as a DJ at the ICE BAR in Niseko, Hokkaido, during the 2007-2008 winter season. She had planned to return to Niseko for the following season, but discovered that she was expecting her first child and had to cancel her plans. She then devoted herself to raising her children and eventually became a mother of three. Later, as if guided by fate, she and her family moved to Hokkaido. Surrounded by the vast landscapes of Hokkaido, her passion for music began to awaken once again. With no formal background in music theory or composition, she began teaching herself how to create music, experimenting with sounds, layering and transforming them to shape the emotions, memories and scenes that emerged within her. Ariel Sphere's music is not confined to a single genre. Blending electronic sounds with cinematic atmospheres, dance music and influences from a wide range of musical styles, she creates music that portrays emotions, memories and inner landscapes that cannot always be expressed through words. There is no age limit to starting something new. The time spent taking a different path, and the moments of standing still, have all become part of the music she creates today. Every feeling, every landscape encountered, and every memory that remains in the heart can become sound. Ariel Sphere continues to explore her own unique style through an endless pursuit of sound, transforming experiences and emotions into music. Snowboarding in winter is another source of inspiration, while the vast landscapes of Hokkaido continue to inspire her music and creative expression.
