  mi-rai is an R&B singer whose heartfelt voice and warm personality embrace listeners with comfort and emotion. Born into a musical family, she grew up surrounded by a wide variety of music including jazz Latin and classical. During her teenage years she discovered the world of Black music through a gospel choir and developed a deep passion for R&B. Just six months after launching her music career mi-rai was selected to perform as a supporting act for a major artist at a prominent R&B event in Osaka. While based in the Kansai region she has steadily expanded her career through collaborations and notable projects including working with the production unit led by Red Spider Junior and releasing a collaboration with former KANDYTOWN member MUD. Her powerful vocals and undeniable talent have earned her growing recognition across Japan. Now resuming her solo career mi-rai continues to share her unique sound from Osaka with R&B at the heart of her music. Whether performing in clubs or intimate acoustic settings she continues to showcase her versatility as an artist and is regarded as one of the promising voices shaping the future of the Kansai R&B scene.
