A bailarrrrr! Hona Odoroka! (Let's Dance!), released in 2012.
The first mini-album created by the members of the band with the aim of reaffirming their "point of origin" after having shared a variety of experiences through the genre of music known as timba from Cuba, the nation with a strong presence in the music scene.
While basically following the standard timba format, the album showcases the diversity of the members' musical talents. Diverse styles of the album include tracks such as Llegó Pandemik (M1), a tribute to a well- known timba classic and Yo soy Cubano (M5), which incorporates non-Latin musical flavors such as the go- go or disco.
Yo soy Cubano ~Michiko Re-Mix~ (M6), created by Michiko Abe, who was also the recording/mixing engineer for the album, is a perfect example of her talent as a popular sound creator and shows the band's pursuit of new potential.

Artist Profile

  • PANDEMIK

Founded in 2009 to spread the pandemic of laughter and inspiration around the world with their Naniwa spirit. The core members of this band used to play together in a band called "Sabrosura del sonido", one of the leading bands in both name and reality in the Japanese Latin music scene at the time and whose achievements include performing at the Fuji Rock Festival, receiving official invitations from the Cuban Ministry of Culture two years in a row to perform at one of their largest music festivals "CUBADISCO", and performing together with visiting Cuban musicians in Japan, such as "Manolito y su Trabuco" and "Los Van Van". Their energetic performance fused with a comedic sense that brought smile to everyone was considered the one-and-only style of entertainment and was always highly acclaimed. Their mini-album titled A bailarrrrr! Hona Odoroka! (Let's Dance!) was released in 2013.
