From the hometown of S-Town to the whole nation
a 5-track debut EP that captures real life and the pursuit of dreams.
Marking the will to rise with the Trap anthem I Can Fly,
cruising through the UK Drill vibe with his ride in Prius,
portraying the everyday reality of Tokushima and Okayama in Daily Life,
embedding hope in melodic waves through I Can Make It,
and unleashing a sharp, commanding presence in Descending Sword.
A powerful project that blends street heat with pop accessibility
a defining step toward carving his own path forward.
Barrel-Sword Barrel-Sword is a hip-hop artist based in Okayama and Tokushima Japan and a member of the crew LoveShots. Raised in the countryside of Okayama in a single-parent household, he experienced isolation from those around him due to family circumstances beyond his control. These struggles fueled a deep sense of loneliness and a powerful drive for self-expression. At the age of 12 he discovered the music of AK-69 which drew him into the world of hip-hop and inspired him to start creating songs of his own. During one of his toughest times, attending an AK-69 concert in a neighboring city and hearing his words on stage became a life-changing moment. He was also heavily influenced by international artists such as Juice WRLD and Kendrick Lamar shaping a style that captures raw pain struggle and truth through honest lyricism. Alongside his work with LoveShots Barrel-Sword began releasing solo material including early tracks like PRIUS and Project S Town With a fresh perspective and youthful energy his music quickly connected with listeners and started building momentum. On August 30 2025 he released his long-awaited first EP solidifying his presence as one of Japan most promising young rap talents.
