GIRA MUNDO, a sound producer and artist who specializes in creating originality by sublimating the expressive rhythms and harmonies of Latin music, particularly Brazilian music, into pop and club music, has finally released his long-awaited masterpiece album from 2007!
The concept is Cidade de Luz, or "Tokyo, City of Light," where individual brilliance can be found amidst a sense of claustrophobia and silence.
This masterpiece, released in 2007, features vocalists including Japan's leading singer Taeko Onuki, Saigenji, a guitarist and voice performer who digests a wide range of genres and performs with a unique approach, and the late Hana Chiba, formerly of the duos "Yohmo to Ohana" and "GRAVA."
This long-awaited digital release is a masterpiece that fuses and sublimates various genres, including Brazilian, jazz, and pop, into a Brazilian flavor through the GIRA MUNDO filter.

GIRA MUNDO
Sound producer/composer/artist A sound producer/artist who is adept at creating originality by sublimating the expressive rhythms and harmonies of Latin music, mainly Brazilian music, into pop and club music. In 2000, he debuted with Sony Music as a member of the male-female duo "beret". He is in charge of composition and guitar. In 2005, 2006, and 2007, he recorded in Brazil and released four albums in Japan. In 2008, he was in charge of sound production for the J-pop unit "Kimaguren". Their debut album "ZUSHI" reached number one on the Oricon charts, and since then, he has been in charge of arranging, composing, and producing albums for many J-pop artists. He is also active in providing music for corporate commercials, and as music director/soundtrack producer for dramas and 2.5-dimensional stage productions for popular anime. "World Trigger The Stage: Galopula Intercept," released as a music download in 2024, reached number one on the soundtrack album chart and overall album chart on iTunes.
