One Stop Past You

Wanting to talk a little longer, I let the train pass my stop. We happened to be on the same train home. As we talked about school and our favorite songs, my stop drew closer. Still, not wanting the conversation to end, I pretended not to notice. That detour on the way home became the happiest moment of the day.
