Balkan's note (Where are your Roots?) from Otoji+Ray's first album "Sound track of film [From Tokyo to the Morava river]", the soundtrack to the documentary film "To Balkan".

In the process of creating the soundtrack, we expressed our interest in the Balkans, our adventurous desire to one day travel there ourselves, and the powerful and beautiful life of the Balkan people.

In the film "To the Balkans", the people in the film are deeply moved by the line "where are your roots?".

Otoji + Ray (From Japan) = Duo of Double bass "Otoji" and violin "Ray". Old jazz, classical, gypsy music, folk songs, electric, etc., through video work music composition, create an original world view of string music. Taking advantage of simple musical instrument composition, co-stars with musicians and dancers of various genres. In soundtrack production for 09'Film "From Tokyo to the Morava river", absorbed in the folk songs and gypsy music of the Balkan Peninsula, and start to tour the Balkan Peninsula every year and co- star with artists from various countries. Its musicality continues to grow and expand.
