Skaai's debut Album "Gnarly" is a work that solidifies his presence as an Artist. While Skaai has previously been known for his cross-genre approach, he has challenged himself with a production style grounded in live instruments. Through repeated live performances with a band set and a process of trial and error, this album established a core identity for the artist Skaai.
All album tracks, including "MILLION", "Runaway", and "FR WIFI", were produced from demo to mixing by label, FR WIFI, co-members and producers BadFriends, uin, and yuya saito. Guest appearances featured trumpeter Reiya Terakubo, whose work adventures genres and scenes, and singer-songwriter Momoko Iwasaki with unique vocal talent and melodic sense. Furthermore, featuring artists such as Keity (ba.), Takato Kumashiro (ba.), Misaki Umei (keys), Eiji Nakamura (keys), and Cure Kaito (gt.) - all consistently active at the forefront with their own unique roots. For M7. Alex Interlude, Alex Stevens, a singer-songwriter/producer who shares a residence with Skaai and yuya saito, participated in the production. Kota Matsukawa (w.a.u), with whom they share a close personal and professional relationship, handled the mastering for all tracks.
