The face of Kurosaki Yuuka changes each time she is drawn
Yet if it matches the image of the music, that is enough
The appeal of a tronie lies in its ability to keep transforming
Much like Godzilla, whose form changes with each story

Until now, the artwork for the music of Kurosaki Yuuka had been created to match the finished songs
But as the act of drawing became more immersive, there were times when the image came first
What kind of face would emerge could not be known until the very end
The process itself became a way of encountering a new Yuuka, and from that image, the music began to take shape

In this work, Yuuka was layered with the Winged Victory of Samothrace
From that image, the keyword VICTORY naturally emerged

At first, the winged Yuuka draws herself inward, wrapped in her own feathers
But gradually, she comes to understand the meaning of her wings
Even the wind she once feared becomes a force that carries her forward
And at last, she rises into the sky

The lyrics were first written in Japanese and completed as an English version
Then, once the melody had taken form, they were reshaped again into Japanese to create this version

These two versions of VICTORY were created in this way and are released simultaneously in English and Japanese on April 13, the birthday of the artist
