mine
mine is a Japanese rap artist based in Miyako Island, Okinawa. Born in Itoman City, he moved to Miyako Island at the age of 20 and has continued his music career there. Rooted in classic boom bap, mine creates underground music inspired by real everyday life, personal experiences, and the atmosphere of the island underground scene. His lyrics reflect raw emotions and unfiltered thoughts, delivering an honest and grounded perspective. He is also a member of the hip-hop crew Makozan, representing the underground sound emerging from beneath the calm surface of a southern island.
