SoLunia is a music project built on one idea: empathy before rescue. Its songs deal with isolation, unease and the feelings that never get said out loud, set to electronic rock.

The new track "Unsaved" is about someone who learns how easy it is to keep away from people, and from there, little by little, stops meeting anyone, stops keeping any record, and eventually stops feeling much at all.

By the time it is noticed, all that remains is a self there was never any wish to keep.

Nothing happened to set it off. No one was cruel.

A familiar face appears further down the street, and a different turn gets taken before anyone notices. The detour is a short one, and it means getting home without speaking to anyone.

That evening, breathing comes easier than expected.

No one had been unpleasant. The route without anyone on it was simply easier.

Once that has been decided, the same route gets taken next time without a second thought.

There is never a shortage of reasons to decline an invitation. Busy. Tired. Some other time. None of them are lies.

As the meetings stop, the photographs thin out too.

Nothing has been deleted. Things just stop being kept.

Before long, it is not only plans and photographs that are disappearing.

Envy comes less often. So does frustration. The crying stops, the anger stops, and from the outside it all looks like having calmed down.

"Unsaved" is about what comes after that.

Nothing has healed. There is simply less reaction left.

Noticing this does not make it easy to stop.

The day after realizing it has been half a year without seeing anyone, the emptier route home still gets chosen. The wish for someone to notice is real, but the way to say it has gone.

And nothing in daily life has actually broken.

Work gets done. The days go on. There is nothing obviously wrong.

Which is exactly why there are no words to explain to anyone that something inside is wearing away.

Built from electronic beats layered with the texture of rock, the sound never slows from start to finish.

It moves between passages that hit hard and passages where the density pulls back, but the sound never comes to a complete stop. That inability to stop mirrors a change that can no longer be stopped from within.

The ending does not settle into quiet either.

At the point where the feeling is at its loudest, the sound is simply cut off.

Nothing has been recovered. No answer has been found.

The time there was no wish to save is already gone, yet the regret is still there, unresolved.

Artist Profile

  • SoLunia

"Empathy over salvation." SoLunia is a music project that gives loneliness and anxiety a place to exist as they are. The name combines Sol (sun), Luna (moon), and ia (place), representing a space between light and shadow - a place where ambiguous emotions that belong fully to neither side can breathe. Rather than offering encouragement or easy optimism, SoLunia seeks a quieter kind of connection: the feeling that someone else is standing in the same place. The songs and visuals explore the pain people often carry but struggle to put into words - the need for validation, disconnection in the digital age, the fear of days when you simply cannot move forward, and the false comfort of saying, "I'm fine." Drawing from lived experiences, SoLunia combines AI and other creative technologies with hands-on human work, pursuing a sense of emotional unity between lyrics, sound, and visuals. Key tracks include "Validation Economy," "Tearless," "unfelt," "I'm fine...," and "Endless Pain."
