100円の大根500円で売り400円を倍増さしてはKeep

借金と着金の違いを知り My Beat鳴らし走り出し

    YOWAME

YOWAME is a truly unique musical unit that transforms questions submitted to their YouTube channel, "The World Only Bandmen Know," into more than 10 original tracks every single month.

Their July 2026 release is a powerful concept album that lays bare the "frenzy" generated by the creature known as the bandman, along with the "cruel reality" that lies beneath it, delivered with absolutely no sugarcoating.

Everyone dreams of the glamorous stage. But behind the scenes lies a painfully gritty daily life: the crippling inferiority complex hidden behind casual greetings with top artists in festival backyards, the bottomless poverty that swallows naive 23-year-olds who moved to Tokyo chasing their dreams, and the harsh nights spent sleeping on the freezing seats of a Hiace equipment van.

It captures the overwhelming sense of defeat in having no choice but to look up from the exact same live house stages as bands of their own generation rapidly ascend to stardom.

What kind of conclusion awaits that pure teenage impulse which blindly believed "you can do it if you try," now that they are past the age of 30?

Etched into this album is the raw "reality of the music industry" that most would rather look away from. Yet, simultaneously, it serves as a complete and absolute affirmation of the "karma" of those who, despite everything, simply could not bring themselves to quit music.

Taking the exact opposite approach to the "self-boast" culture often found in hip-hop, this album adopts a brutally raw "self-documentary" style. Its lyrical mastery transcends musical genres, deeply piercing the hearts of anyone who has ever chased a dream.

Artist Profile

  • YOWAME

YOWAME is a rap duo that transforms questions sent to the YouTube channel The World Only Bandmen Know into original tracks. They have set an ambitious goal of releasing 150 songs a year, which means dropping a full-length album every single month. They are a completely fresh alternative rap outfit that drags the inconvenient truths of the music industry and the raw, gritty reality of bandmen daily life and finances, secrets long buried by both the Japanese indie and major scenes, right out into the open with sharp, cutting raps and highly addictive riffs. Armed with the lyrical prowess of Takuro (Vo, Rap), whose storytelling talent is so profound his novel was adapted into a movie, and the sonic craft of soundtrack composer 812 (Track Maker), the duo keeps up the fight on their main battleground, YouTube, dropping content every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
