前作"Cycle"の発売から約1年、2020年コロナ自粛明け直後に開始したレコーディングで作り上げたVital Club2枚目の作品。
2019年は山形、仙台、東京を中心に精力的なライブ活動を展開していたが、コロナ自粛により活動がストップ。しかし2020年6月の自粛明け直後に酒田hopeにてレコーディングを開始し、8月のEP発売に至った。
パッキッシュで勢いのあるギターリフから始まる「driving emotion」 (M1)、静と動が一本の線で繋がり、壮大な展開が美しい「街」(M2)、メッセージ性が高く、美しいリフが特徴的な「dawn」(M3)、ライブでも未披露の新曲「future」(M4)と、EPでありながら聴きごたえのある作品となっている。
また、今回立ち上げた自主レーベル「COE Records」からリリースし、製作費以上の売り上げをライブハウス酒田hopeに寄付する。

Artist Profile

  • Vital Club

    A rock band influenced by 90's US/UK indie rock and alternative rock, consisting of Nobuya (vocals, guitar), RIKU UEDA (drums), and Soy (bass). Formed at Yamagata University in 2015. Released their first album "Cycle" in 2019. They continue to work energetically locally, supporting touring bands and organizing their own independent projects, mainly in their home town of Sakata Hope, and released an EP in 2020 and a digital single in 2023.
