The End of the Banquet, and the Beginning Beyond It

"Ohi Kaku- At the End of the Banquet" marks the closing chapter of the A-row in the Dictionary Journey.
Rooted in ohi-rakian old Japanese word for gently bringing a gathering to an end
the song captures the quiet moment where endings and beginnings softly cross paths.

The faint humor that appears as a banquet winds down.
A silhouette leaving without a formal farewell.
Feelings that remain only within silence.

The song also weaves together two historical moments:
Confucius's final writing, Kakurin, and
the Buddha's passing, also called Kakurin.
Sharing the same sound, these two "kakurin" form a duet of life and death,
closure and renewal.

In the latter half, a crow appears
a guide toward the next chapter of the Dictionary Journey.
Beyond a woman's final sorrow,
its clear kaa-kaa cry opens into the freedom of the sky.

The words gathered along this journey,
the calligraphic characters written one by one,
and the passing of time itself
gently close a curtain, and open it once more.

Even when the banquet is over, the journey does not end.
This song carries the quiet resolve and lingering echo of that truth.
