I thought that AI might be able to describe the current realities and various problems surrounding global warming in greater detail than I could on my own.
For this song, however, I did not think it mattered who contributed the most. What mattered to me was the collaboration between AI and me as a human creator.
The lyrics initially generated by ChatGPT had a somewhat explanatory tone, so I revised and reshaped them, adding more human emotion and my own spirit to the song.
For this particular work, I feel that this creative process was absolutely the right choice.
With a rap-like style and a rapid-fire delivery, "Global Warming" addresses the many problems surrounding the climate crisis.
I hope listeners will hear it not simply as "another song about global warming,"but as a song worth listening to.
The original title suggested by ChatGPT was "Are We Still in Time?" However, I felt that something was missing. I proposed the simpler title, "Global Warming," and ChatGPT agreed.
And that is how the title was decided.
