• Kinryujin

  Kinryujin began sharing his work on YouTube in June 2022. At first, the channel served as a place to freely express whatever had been building inside him, without being bound by any specific genre. Through this process, he began composing music despite having no formal background. Strongly influenced from a young age by hide, guitarist of X JAPAN, he started making music after a spontaneous moment of inspiration. Without relying on music theory, Kinryujin creates songs by directly translating the sounds he hears in his mind into music, drawing from a lifelong habit of improvisational singing. His unique approach has often been described as having an addictive quality. Just ten months after beginning composition, he released his first album, Yaritai Koto Yareba Iiyo. Afterwards, he chose to step back from public activity to reassess his creative quality, continuing to refine his craft in pursuit of more satisfying expression. Before becoming an artist, Kinryujin was a competitive high jumper until 2016, achieving an 8th-place finish at the Japan National Championships and a personal best of 2.15 meters. Carrying the experience of a former athlete, he continues to evolve as an artist.
