About "The Day of Life"

"The Day of Life" was written and composed by ROSE in 2022, inspired by a human rights lecture held at a junior high school in Shimonoseki City, Japan, as part of "The Day of Life", a citywide initiative that encourages people to reflect on the dignity and value of every human life.

Observed annually on April 13, The Day of Life was established in memory of a tragic incident in which a junior high school student lost their life as a result of bullying. It serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting every life and creating a society where no one is left to suffer alone.

The lyrics express gratitude for the gift of life, encourage those who are struggling to speak out instead of carrying their pain in silence, and remind us that every life is sustained through kindness, compassion, and mutual support.

This song is dedicated to everyone who has ever felt alone, and to all who believe in the power of empathy, hope, and human connection.
