  mineo kawasaki An electronic music composer and drummer based in Ehime Prefecture. He began his solo career in June 2022. He constructs electronic soundscapes by skillfully combining live drums and MIDI controllers. In his solo project, he uses record sampling that incorporates elements of house, techno, and experimental music, creating tracks suitable for both headphones and the dance floor. He continues to perform both domestically and internationally, and in 2024, he contributed to compilations released by two European labels. In June, following his appearance in 2023, he performed at the Canadian music festival Sled Island 2024, which featured artists such as Fana Molina and Jeff Praker, and embarked on a tour that included other Canadian cities and Iceland. At a live venue in Iceland, Björk added mineo kawasaki track Rob to Apple Music Live NYE 2025 (DJ Mix). https://music.apple.com/jp/album/apple-music-live-nye-2025-dj-mix/1787060099 In 2025, he returned to the festival to perform alongside Makaya McCraven. He toured Iceland and five European cities, earning solid acclaim in each location.
