When Toten Paul went to South Africa in 2011 to explore the trajectory of Nelson Mandela, he saw the magnificent scenery of the savannah and wrote the song. The melody was commissioned by Mr. Noriyuki Takagi, who arranged mountain songs to evoke the heartbeat of life in the earth, such as Enigma's Return to Innocence. This song has the theme of life circulating on this planet, and it is a message song that asks people to live their lives to the fullest and cherish the present, which will never come again.

    TOUTEN PAUL Human Rights Education Entertainer TOUTEN PAUL is a Japanese artist who combines music and educational performances to share messages about the value of life, kindness, and the belief that no one is ever truly alone. Inspired by his experiences during the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake, he began his artistic journey with a mission to encourage hope and human connection. In 2007, he traveled across Japan for 212 days on a nationwide anti-bullying tour, living on the road while performing and meeting people from all walks of life. For more than 20 years, he has continued to visit elementary, junior high, and high schools, as well as local communities throughout Japan, presenting human rights education programs alongside his original music. His signature song is **"MOUNTAIN SONG."** Other notable works include **"WE ARE THE FAMILY," "Let Your Life Shine,"** and **"follow me follow love,"** all inspired by themes of life, hope, compassion, and meaningful encounters. His music is created not only to accompany his educational performances, but also to bring comfort, encouragement, and inspiration to everyday life. His first album, **"WE ARE THE FAMILY,"** features songs inspired by people he met during his nationwide journey, including **"Teach Me, TREE," "The Girl from Korinbo,"** and **"The Girl from the Ganges."** The title track, **"WE ARE THE FAMILY,"** was created in collaboration with the Takamatsu Human Rights Research Association in support of Pink Shirt Day, the global anti-bullying movement. The album also includes **"follow me follow love,"** a message of hope for young people struggling with online harassment and cyberbullying. Guided by his motto, **"Always Keep a Mountain in Your Heart,"** TOUTEN PAUL continues his mission to inspire people through music and human rights education, hoping to help more people feel grateful to be alive today and to believe in a brighter tomorrow.
