Enishi - The Sake Brewers' Song - is part of the "Job Song" series by singer-songwriter missato, who creates songs inspired by real professions and the people behind them.

The song was born from interviews with people involved in sake brewing. Over the course of two years, missato visited sake breweries, planted rice used for sake production, and listened to the thoughts, experiences, and daily lives of tōji (master brewers) and kurabito (brewery workers), creating a song that places the people behind the craft at its heart.

The title Enishi refers to the invisible connections that bind not only people to one another, but also the natural environment, water, rice, inherited traditions, and future generations that support the world of sake.

Encounters with kurabito. Encounters with sake. Encounters with the land.

A song that invites listeners to discover the people behind sake and the appeal of their work.
