This story rewinds to the late 1980s and early 1990s. Everyday common sense, the small routines of daily life, the way people talk, and the songs drifting through the city all feel a little different from today.

At its core, it is a story about love and reincarnation, set in Shibuya and modeled after the "trendy dramas" that defined that era on Japanese TV.

Humanity only goes on because we fall in love; and as long as we go on living, we keep being reborn as new selves in this life, or in another.
Even couples who were certain they had already said goodbye, if they could be reborn, might just cross paths again someday.

The cityscape keeps shifting. Before you realize it, you are asking yourself what used to stand here. Once a place is torn down and rebuilt, the old memories fade quickly.
"Hello. Tonight at 7 p.m., by the Moyai Statue at Shibuya Station, I will push open the phone booth door and step out toward you."

In exchange for all our convenience and the corporate obsession with "compliance", it feels as if something quietly human has worn thin.
"Just give me a little wink, like in one of those old Japanese dramas."

Tonight, I just want to dance in Shibuya.
