Vocalist Ryo, guitarist Distan, and drummer Shinji meet in the light music club at Tokyo Michisada University and form a band. When Ryo and Shinji mention they are missing a bassist, Distan cluelessly remarks, Honestly, I can't even hear the bass in any song I listen to. The other two instantly fire back, The bass is crucial! Vocalist Ryo, guitarist Distan, and drummer Shinji form a band after meeting in Tokyo Michisada University's light music club. They recruit a bassist via auditions, choosing Hidemi purely for their good looks. During their third year, they pause the band for job hunting. But despite a booming job market, all three fail to get any offers and decide to restart the band. Soon after, Hidemi, a part-timer, meets the president of the game planning company suZya at a bar. This chance encounter leads to the four of them debuting as a visual kei band under suZya's label.
