By coming into contact with its resonance, a worldview is born, and a vibrant imagery emerges that feels as if the listener is also being vividly colored . Perhaps what makes a musical piece appealing to listeners is not only the colors emitted by the music itself but also the elements that allow the listener to contribute colors to the music, creating a sense of mutual interaction. It might change in color depending on the emotions of each listener at any given moment, as stated by the creator, Yukari Natsuzumi: 'The colors may change with each individual's feelings at that moment.' This work contains this essence that the creator embedded in the music, and it presents five colorful tracks, each emitting its unique hue.

The source material 'color' is the digital release of the work that was initially released on CD on April 28, 2023. All songs are written and composed by Yukari Natsuzumi herself. The recording members include Mioko Inoue [keyboard], Yuichi Kitajima [guitar], and Kiyokuni Ogawa [bass]. The production is overseen by bassist Kiyokuni Ogawa (ex-can/goo), who also arranged all the tracks."

"Natsuzumi started her musical career from an early age with piano and singing, making notable appearances on TV shows during elementary school. After graduating from a music college, she moved to Tokyo to join a music school, where she honed her skills and expanded her career while learning from professional artists. While being a full-time mother, she temporarily scaled back her activities as an artist. However, with the release of her CD, she restarted her professional pursuits earnestly. Presently, she brings her passion in guiding aspiring musicians through her initiative, Yukari Little Music, while focusing on piano and singing performances as the core of her activities.

Her music emanates from various facets of a modern woman's life-love, work, relationships, and motherhood-each expressing its unique color and personality. Her songs, encompassing a blend of jazz, Latin, funk, blues and pop, carry a nostalgic yet stylish neo-retro vibe, inviting listeners into a world of colorful sound. These tracks feature catchy and colorful musical landscapes intertwined with the skilled performances of musicians, encapsulating a city-pop flavor."
