    Sad Happy Birthdays is a band formed in 2024 by guitarist and vocalist Katie Ford, who is half Australian and half Japanese. Forming the band had been a dream of hers for many years. On October 31st of the same year, they released their first single, "Day For You". Their second single, "Tracking It Down", was released on January 31st, 2025, followed by the third single, "That Aesthetic Girl", on April 30th. They are currently working on their first full-length album.
