  A J-Pop duo, bound by music across the globe redraw is a duo band consisting of producer dro and vocalist Rui, transcending the boundaries of distance and time through music. dro writes songs from a college dorm in the U.S., while Rui records vocals inside a closet-turned-booth in Japan. Despite living in different countries and environments, the two formed the band in February 2024 after connecting on X. Both members originally lived as a college student and a working professional with little connection to music, yet their shared passion for it led them to overcome a 13-hour time difference and continue their activities as a remote band. In July 2024, they debuted with their first single, "Mint for Two" successfully entering the iTunes J-POP charts in multiple countries. Since then, they have been actively releasing digital singles approximately every two months. True to their name, redraw aims to break genre boundaries within J-POP and explore various musical styles, redefining their sound with each release. To achieve this, they operate their own studio, collaborate with independent animators, and create uniquely interconnected works where music, lyrics, and visuals come together seamlessly.
