    Licana Born to a Filipino mother and a Japanese father, Licana developed a passion for singing from an early age. During her junior high school years, she participated in numerous auditions, and at just 15 years old, she became a semi-finalist in the MTV STAR TOUR competition. After officially launching her music career in 2009, she quickly gained attention and earned an exceptional opportunity to participate in HI-D Special Calling Session2. In 2010, she released digital singles for four consecutive months while receiving a flood of guest feature requests from artists such as HI-D, Mr. Low-D, TARO SOUL, and U-ONE. Captivating listeners through appearances on many hit songs, Licana became known as the singer most wanted for collaborations. In 2013, she released her first album Love Letter, followed by her second album LIFE in 2014. In April 2015, she released the album Only One, which included the digital smash hit A.I.KA.GI feat.GAYA-K. Another track from the album, Always Be Your Girl, was selected as an insert song for director Mamoru Hosodas acclaimed animated film The Boy and the Beast. On August 19, 2015, Licana released her best album Licana BEST 2009-2015 exclusively through TSUTAYA rental stores. Since then, she has continued releasing music and performing, steadily building her career. With her unforgettable angelic voice that continues to captivate fans, Licana is sure to keep making waves in the music scene.
