Building on the momentum of their previous hits 'YOU WORRY' and 'Monstera', Stones Taro & Kaoruko have unveiled their newest single, 'Diamond'.
Embracing the ethereal vibes of UK's Garage/2-Step genre, a sound Stones Taro has become renowned for in the Tokyo club scene, paired with Kaoruko's hauntingly delicate vocals, the song paints a vivid portrait of a young adult's tumultuous emotions, oscillating between depths of despair and peaks of joy a sonic representation emblematic of Tokyo in 2023.
The sonic brilliance of the track is further elevated thanks to the expert mixing and mastering by Tadashi Matsuda, a veteran who has lent his skills to musical luminaries like Rip Slime, m-flo, Tei Towa, and chelmico.

Kaoruko
Singer-songwriter born in Yokosuka and raised in Shinjuku. Her music is inspired by a wide range of genres from pop and rock to dance music, and she writes and produces her own songs. Kaoruko debuted in 2019 with the EP Starting now, followed by You Better Know, SyGyZy, and opal. After collaborating with Stones Taro on YOU WORRY (featured on the tokyo vitamin compilation album), the two went on to release the joint EP Y in March 2024, followed by Y Remixes in December, a release more focused on the dance floor. Actively performing across Japan, Kaoruko has recently expanded to international stages, appearing at Neon Oasis Fest. in Taiwan and Studio Adventure in Vietnam in 2024, while continuing to bring her sound to dance floors in Tokyo and beyond.
