"kumonosukimakara" is a grand song filled with hope and love, inspired by Yoko's own experience of
her own child's suicide, dedicated to those people grieving the loss of a loved one!
In 1970, she made her major debut under the name "Yoko Takimoto" with the song "Fusen" on Nippon Crown Records. She attracted attention by singing the theme song for the TBS TV drama "Akai Kutsu", which was broadcast nationwide. She sang "Gogo no Sasayaki", the ending theme song for the TBS TV lunchtime talk show "Sanji ni Aimashou". She also wrote the lyrics for the song "Hitorigurashi", sung by Kyu Sakamoto.(He sang a song called "Sukiyaki"). In 2016, she resumed her musical career with a concert to mark the return of her, name from "Yoko Nakamura" to "Yoko Takimoto".
