Andy Cummings was a Hawaiian music singer and composer, and active from the 1930s to the 1950s.
In 1938, when Andy Cummings was 25 years old, he traveled to the U.S. mainland, became homesick,
and wrote this song in memory of his hometown of Waikiki.
This is the best known the song titled Waikiki and everyone immediately recall this song when you mention the word, Waikiki.

Sandii
Sandii lived in Hawaii during her late teens and most of her 20s. In that period, she sang in clubs and studied hula with Aunty Bella Richards of Kailua. She also met and bonded with Pattye Kealohalani Wright, who later became a Kumu Hula through Aunty Lani Kalama (1990). Sandii has the various, many different musical phases of her recording career. She has recorded as Sandi Ai, Sandy Hohn, Sandii & the Sunsetz, and now as Sandii. Since 1996, her albums have been Hawaiian or Polynesian-theme.
