"Abuku" is a song that compares the growing number of sighs in everyday life to bubbles formed by breath, and to the feeling of struggling underwater.
The sensation of sinking deeper with every breath reflects the growing distance between two people, as well as the frustration of being unable to express what you truly want to say.
Through familiar scenes-walking together or waving goodbye in front of a station-the song portrays a relationship gradually changing without either person being able to put those changes into words.
The final line, "I was drowning in your warmth," expresses not only loneliness and emotional suffocation, but also the desire to stay close to someone despite it all.
