airattic was formed in February 2022. Built around themes of moratorium, the city, emotional neutrality, and life in one's twenties, the idol group creates a sound rooted in guitar rock and electronica. The group's name is a portmanteau of 'air' and 'attic'.

Their fifth EP, Synchronicity, is their final EP before concluding activities in September 2026. Alongside three new songs: 'Embers', 'HERE', and 'Proof', the EP features new vocal recordings of the live staples 'Lightning' and 'Kanjosen Children'.
