Light is born in the water, and moves beyond the shadow.
This piece forms a counterpart to "A Light on the Water,"
expanding the quiet glow into a deeper, more introspective world -
a place shaped by shadow.
Delicate piano textures breathe and unfold,
reflecting the subtle emotions that exist between life and death, light and darkness.
As the music gently dissolves into silence,
it leaves behind a lingering trace within the listener.
A companion piece to "A Light on the Water,"
this is another perspective of the same quiet light.
