"When you make peace with yourself, the world begins to change."
Milky Way is an original musical born in Hirakata City, Osaka - a place where the Milky Way flows and the legend of TANABATA lives on.
Two kingdoms with different values: Har, a land that treasures freedom and dreams, and Mony, a land that values effort and prosperity. The prince Altair and princess Vega meet, clash, and gradually discover the true feelings hidden deep in their hearts. At the same time, the kings of both kingdoms encounter their childhood selves and rediscover what they had long forgotten. When each of them makes peace with who they truly are, families are reunited and the two kingdoms become one - a brand new world called Harmony Dreamland.
Created with the hope that children, through performing, will nurture self-confidence and a love for their hometown. This album features all 11 songs from the musical.
Artist Profile
Chiharu Inoue
Graduated from Osaka University of Arts,Department of Music. Lyricist, composer, arranger, picture book author, and lecturer. I have been playing the electronic organ & piano for 20 years, including at Hotel New Otani, and have been teaching the electronic organ & piano for 40 years. Since 2011, I have been producing and performing "Ehon Live®" works that deliver a "true view of the world" through original picture books and songs. In 2019, I established an NPO and am engaged in child-rearing support activities through Ehon Live®.
