A SHINING SIGN (feat. PrismNote)

Rediscover the excitement and magic of 1980s Japanese idol pop.

Flashback Factory proudly introduces Prism Note, a three-member Japanese girl group, with their debut single "Mabushii Yokan (A SHINING SIGN)."

Featuring Hikari Minase, Risa Hayami, and Madoka Tachibana, Prism Note is a fictional idol group inspired by the vibrant Japanese pop music scene of the mid-to-late 1980s.

Their debut single captures the bright, uplifting spirit of classic Japanese idol pop, blending lively rhythms, sweeping strings, sparkling synthesizers, and the fresh, youthful voices of three girls singing together in unison.

The theme is simple: the beginning of a dream.

Standing on the verge of their very first performance, the girls experience a mixture of excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. With the heartfelt wish of someday becoming someone else's inspiration, they take their first steps toward the spotlight.

The song brings these emotions to life through its catchy melody, innocent charm, and nostalgic atmosphere.

Inspired by an era when colorful vinyl singles filled record store shelves and new idols made their debuts on television and radio, Flashback Factory recreates the spirit of Showa-era Japanese pop while bringing a new fictional idol story to life.

Nostalgic, yet refreshingly new.
