  Singing not of happiness, but of death. Rooted in the death of a real woman who lived more than twenty years ago, sasano creates original works built around the perspective of that woman singing from the afterlife while watching the people and the world she left behind. Regret, longing, bitterness, envy. Through the voice of the dead, sasano gives form to the darker sides of human emotion and leaves them behind as music. People are not made only of beautiful feelings. sasano seeks to turn those darker emotions into something beautiful through music. Keeping a distance from formulaic expression, sasano shapes each work through lived language and a consistent world of its own. From lyric writing to worldbuilding, concept, and direction, sasano leads the creative process throughout. In vocal and audio production, AI is incorporated as a creative tool in bringing each work to life.
