I turned the things that astonished and amazed me when I went to America in 1992 into music.
One of those things was
the big band performance.
It was music that blew me away -like a sports car, with incredible drive and swing, the piercing sound of the trumpets, the sharp sound and rhythm of the percussion, the saxophones' harmonies and drive.
