Ghost Lamp
Ghost Lamp is a beatmaker and DJ originally from Yame City, Fukuoka, and currently based in Tokyo, Japan. He began his career in 2003 under the name Dj Choo, earning recognition through numerous DJ battles, including representing the Kyushu region at the prestigious DMC Championships. In 2013, he launched his beatmaking career under the name Ghost Lamp. He released his first album, Determination, in 2017, and went on to place second in the international beatmaking competition From Dust To Gold in 2019, judged by dj honda. Today, Ghost Lamp releases music through his own label, Bold Gamble Records, while also providing beats and scratch work for various artists. In recent years, he has expanded his collaborations both domestically and internationally, including releases and music videos with Brooklyn-based rapper Ruste Juxx.
