This album is a compilation of the three debut EPs, "Circle," "Triangle," and "Square," which were simultaneously released in 2018 by the solo project "Ms. Indie Pop," marking her first official music release. It also includes a newly re-recorded version of Cotton#3 (Track 16).
The album features the complete Cotton series of independently-produced, hand-drawn animation music videos. "Circle" (Track 1-5) focuses on gentle, soothing songs, "Triangle" (Track 6-10) includes fictional commercial music tracks, and "Square" (Track 11-15) adopts a soundtrack-like style with less emphasis on vocals.
After releasing an EP under the name mioriii in 2023 with the American label Hush Hush Records, she makes a long-awaited return as "Ms. Indie Pop," offering a fresh glimpse into her distinctive voice.

Japanese ambient musician Mioriii composes music using her voice like an instrument. Her stage name is "Ms. Indie Pop". She records and mixes all the music at her house. Growing up, she was inspired by foreign music. Almost every day, she sang original humming songs in her original languages. So, sometimes her music doesn't put less emphasis on lyrics. She creates all music videos herself, including animation by the process of rotoscoping.
