Noctimurmur

The murmur of the night, woven from electronic sound.
From a twilight forest to a city that never sleeps, four tracks trace a series of scenes and a story.

The second EP from nareka. Its theme is "night scenes": a forest at dusk, a room somewhere in the city at night, a bus running along a highway after dark. Four tracks portraying a night stirring with all kinds of people and presences. The title "Noctimurmur" is a coined word joining nocti- (Latin for "night") and murmur.

The murmur is carried by voices. Voices made with the Synthesizer V singing software sing melodies, trade lines, rap, and whisper. Beats and electronic sounds come further to the front than in any previous work, in a release its creator calls a challenge.
