Amami-born singer-songwriter Akira Hirata has imbued the title *Last Man Standing* with an unyielding resolve to "keep singing with both feet firmly planted on the ground until the very end." The album is divided into an "Anthem" side that gives you a boost, and a "Story" side that reflects the light and shadows of life-and this is the B-side "Story" section!
Please enjoy the stories hidden within these songs.
Feel free to listen to it however you like, but I carefully considered the track order when putting this album together. Even if it's just a few times, I hope you'll take the time to listen to all 11 tracks from start to finish. I hope my feelings come through. And I hope this becomes one of your favorite albums.

Akira Hirata, a singer-songwriter from Amami. Amami Tourism Ambassador In 1993, he made his solo debut from Toshiba EMI with "Tonight, the Beatles fill the city". A singer-songwriter representing Amami who inherits the spirit of Amami from Amami's island songs and culture and continues to challenge to create new Amami sounds.
