Miya Uezu
In 2025, she won the Best Composition Award at the 35th New Song Award hosted by Radio Okinawa. "Award-winning song: Kognenashiguwa" was included on the first 1st album "Hamaui" and released in May 2025. She is the owner of the Ryukyu Folk Song Association's master license and is also popular among younger generations who have talent for singing and the Okinawa shamisen and are away from folk songs. She is also making efforts to ensure that Okinawan music reaches the world without changing the axis of "Okinawa folk songs." Her singing voice is transparent, playing the healing Okinawan shamisen.
