君の体温が毛布になって

世界中を包んだら

草むらに隠れた父さんを

もう一度見つけたら

It's about a good day

飛んでいける

It's about a new wave

Maika Loubté has announced the release of her fourth pre-release single, "Kingyo-bachi," from her upcoming album House of Holy Banana, set to drop on Wednesday, January 21, 2026.

The track pairs an aggressive, high-intensity soundscape inspired by acid trance and rave music with a cool, almost detached vocal delivery, creating a striking contrast. Its extreme, full-throttle production and introspective perspective coexist in a way that resonates with post-hyperpop sensibilities, while pushing further into a more physical and deeply personal territory.

Written from a first-person, inward-looking perspective, the song reflects on themes of family love rooted in the artist's own personal experiences. The "walls of a home" are portrayed as something that can both protect and confine a family-enclosing us in various forms.

The music video, released on the same day, is directed by emerging video artist Saou Tanaka, who has collaborated with Maika Loubté on multiple occasions. Utilizing contemporary AI and 3D animation techniques, the video incorporates several photographs from Maika's childhood. Set within a vividly colored goldfish bowl-serving as a metaphor for "home"-the camera perspective constantly shifts, unfolding like a journey through an inner world.

Blurring memory and the present, reality and imagination, the visual expression renders the song's themes of family love and introspection in a more layered and three-dimensional form.
