Structural beauty that transcends the boundaries of Japanese rap.
"Music as story" is here, now.

SXICIDE RYUSEI's fourth album, "Ouroboros,"
is what might be called a "listening movie" that pushes the structural beauty and narrative of Japanese rap to the limits.

At the center of the story is an old friend who blossomed as a talented young man but died under mysterious circumstances.
The work intertwines the perspectives of the old friend's past and downfall,
as well as the protagonist who pursues the truth behind his death.
The English title track is clearly from the perspective of the old friend, while the kanji title track is from the perspective of the protagonist.
The sound images also switch each time,
creating a sense of a rupture in the timeline for the listener.

The work depicts a lyrical mystery where memory and sound intertwine.
