DÉ DÉ MOUSE's project "Afternoon Air Currents," inspired by the skies of suburban Tokyo, will release "At the usual place" on Friday, September 11-a new melodic lo-fi track with a soft, floating quality that resonates with everyday scenes and emotions.
In this track, melodic keyboards and lo-fi beats quietly intertwine to present listeners with a dreamlike scene; as the phrases repeat, the contours of emotion gradually shift, casting everyday scenery in a slightly different light than usual.
It feels as though the song captures the subtle emotional fluctuations found in familiar places, familiar scenery, and unremarkable moments. Everyday scenes-such as a room bathed in the slanting afternoon light, the usual walk home, or a street corner where the atmosphere feels just a little different-are transformed into something slightly dreamlike by the warm resonance of the keyboard.
Echoing the artwork by manga artist and illustrator Tomoko Oshima-which depicts a casual, everyday scene-the boundary between the ordinary and the extraordinary slowly blurs.
We hope you'll listen to this song on an afternoon spent alone in deep thought-perhaps with a notebook spread out by the window, enveloped in the light filtering through the blinds-or during a quiet moment before you begin something new.

Solo project by Daisuke Endo. He is a composer, arranger, producer, keyboardist, and DJ. He is also active in various fields such as programming, mixing/mastering of his own songs and videos, and produces/provides music/remixes for other works. His melody cut-up technique and catchy and mysterious melody/chord structure have created many followers both in Japan and abroad, and he has brought about an achievement that can be called an invention in the scene since then. He has been actively pursuing live performances as a trackmaker/producer since the early stages of his career, and his live performances with live instruments are one of the most appealing features of his music, appearing at many festivals and events every year, such as Fuji Rock and Tyco Club. In 2019, he will release his 8th full-length album "Nulife" and in April 2020, he will release a digital EP "Hello My Friend". In addition to his energetic releases, including his own edit sound distribution, he has recently started a DJ distribution project on the Internet called "Nulife Groove," and has performed more than 40 series of guerrilla-style distribution on street corners, and has performed Demonstration 1, 2, and 3 using twin drums and 3D sound. Demonstration1, which made full use of twin drums and stereophonic sound, and Demonstration2, which performed live in a virtual planetarium space, are also experimental series that have attracted much attention. In addition, he has collaborated with various artists such as Serph, CHIP TANAKA, LITE, TANUKI(UK), 1311, PUNIPUNI DENKI, YonYon, SASUKE, AZK, WaMi, Hylen, OUIOUI(Korea), and others, and has released works in both band and club scenes. Their inexhaustible activities and live performances continue to fascinate people, transcending all frameworks, from the band scene and the club scene to the music scene. In 2022, they will form a new band called "Fake Creators" and will perform at the FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL 2022 before the release of their sound source.
