Yae Koitabashi's first full-length album, Naohikaru.
Four songs from the 10-track album are being released ahead of the full album.
The breeze gently lifting your hair as you stand alone in nature, the sound of waves rolling back and forth, and countless stars spreading across the night sky-
these are the landscapes evoked by Yae Koitabashi's music, a world that invites you to surrender to the slow, deep flow of time.
With unadorned words and a sincere voice, she gently gathers up the small joys found in everyday life, feelings for those she loves, and memories of days gone by.
With beloved Okinawa and Tokyo, the city where she was born and has lived, as its backdrop, the music nevertheless portrays universal feelings that live in everyone's heart.
Resonating alongside her voice are the guitar melodies of Hajime Takahashi, whose musical journey is connected to Ireland. The sounds of Kunihiko Kurosawa's flutes from around the world blend into the music like a gentle breeze brushing softly against your cheek.
And Keiji Matsui, an engineer as well as a bassist and cellist, embraces and supports the entire sound, guiding the music ever farther and higher.
This music could only have been born from these four musicians-honest, profound, and deeply emotional. May it gently accompany you in your precious everyday moments, and quietly touch your heart.
