About the Album:

"Life is a killing time"

This is a gem of an album, created by two extraordinary artists hailing from Sendai. The "super chill rapper" Rakuyo and the "super chill beatmaker" JiNMaK a.k.a TA-TI have collaborated to produce a collection of superb tracks.

The tracks are based on JiNMaK's signature sound, with jazz-style piano sampling and warm drums and bass as the foundation. Rakuyo's witty spits, which seem cold when looking at reality but have a certain charm, intertwine seamlessly with the beats.

About Collaborations (featuring artists):

TA-TI: This is JiNMaK's rapper alias.

SK: A rapper from Iwate Prefecture. Rakuyo met him at a hip-hop event in Tokyo and they hit it off. They are the same age and have the same birthday.

You: A rapper and singer from Yamagata Prefecture. They are good friends.

About Rakuyo:

Rakuyo was the vocalist, guitarist, lyricist, and composer of the punk rock band "Mr. Bations" from high school (2012). The band disbanded in 2020, and Rakuyo began his career as a rapper under the same name. He has collaborated with beatmaker "kirisameta," also from Sendai, and they have released two full-length albums independently. In 2021, he moved his base from Sendai to Tokyo with his partner.

He likes rebellious and positive music, and writers such as Ryu Murakami, Lily Franky, Sakura Momoko, and Robert Parker have had a significant influence on his lyrics and way of life.

About JiNMaK:

JiNMaK was born in March 1988, and thanks to his father, a jazz pianist, he grew up surrounded by various musical instruments such as grand pianos, drum sets, and wood basses, making music a part of his daily life since childhood. He became interested in beat-making influenced by Nujabes. He began creating music, offering tracks to many rappers, and releasing his album "Pray List" (2019).

He specializes in muddy drums and delicate piano loops that resonate with listeners' sensibilities, expanding their creativity.
