"Ballad of the Girl with the Old-Fashioned Name"

A ballad, in this context, not a ballad in the modern pop-music sense, but the traditional poetic genre of narrative verse passed down orally, often dealing with themes of heartbreak and lost love.

The song tells the story of a man and a woman who share something deep within their souls, their similarities giving them a somewhat anarchic air.

An experimental work that draws heavily on the influence of Bob Dylan.
