    Last Star Vocal & Drum Unit from Kansai, Japan Blending heartfelt songwriting with powerful performances, Last Star is a rising two-member unit making waves with their original music and self-produced music videos. Their unique combination of vocals and drums, along with emotionally resonant lyrics, has captured attention across Japan. Profile & Highlights Formed in January 2013 by lifelong friends ryosuke (Vocal) and yuto (Drums), Last Star began their journey as an unconventional unit, fusing vocals and drums into a powerful street and live house presence. Their first anniversary solo live show drew 200 fans and completely sold out, marking the beginning of a loyal following. In 2015, they gained national attention with their original support anthem Dareka no Tame ni (For Someone), written for the Doshisha University Rugby Team. The song was featured in major media outlets including Asahi Shimbun, Mainichi Broadcasting, and NHK. In 2019, the song was selected for the official compilation album Hashire! Fifteen, supporting the Japan national team during the first-ever Rugby World Cup held in Asia. The album is now available nationwide. In 2020, their song Shiawase was chosen as the ending theme for the local cable news show J:COM Tsunagaru News! Higashi-Osaka Kawachi. Their first full-length album Ningen (Human) debuted at #8 on the iTunes Daily Album Chart, showcasing their expanding fanbase and artistic reach.
