Singer-songwriter and producer ROU, from Kumamoto, is set to release his new single View. The track is co-produced by TOMi, a DJ and music producer from Okinawa, who also worked on ROUs previous single Career feat. KIKUMARU and is known for producing the hit single Without You by Yo-Sea.

In addition to co-producing, ROU handled the top-line melodies, while TOMi was in charge of the beat. The track features mellow R&B-inspired melodies layered over lo-fi, chill beats, creating a sound that fits perfectly with a relaxed mood. The lyrics reflect ROUs personal views on life and death.

ROU is currently working on a full-length album, set to release in 2025, once again with TOMi as co-producer.

    ROU (pronounced Rō) A producer and singer-songwriter from Kumamoto, Japan, ROU began his full-scale music career in 2018. In recent years, he has not only produced for other artists but also taken full creative control of his own work writing lyrics, composing, arranging, and producing the majority of his tracks. His music is rooted in hip-hop, infused with elements of J-POP and R&B, creating a distinctive and genre blending style that leaves a lasting impression. Currently, ROU is working on a full-length album set to be released in 2025, with Okinawa-born DJ and music producer TOMi joining as co-producer.
